To perform at your chosen sport you need to be physically fit, have a good level of technical ability and be mentally prepared. However a lot of the time we get fit, we train to get the technical ability and ignore or simply do not realise the importance of mental training.

We have all had those times when we wanted to be in the 'zone' feel more confident and focused. However sometimes we let our minds work against us, we think negative thoughts, concentrate on what we don't want to happen, and then are surprised that we got what we thought about, a poor result.
